Click the Add Unit button on the product model details screen to add a unit.

On the Add Unit pop-up screen, enter the unit name and unit number, select the data type and data properties, enter the data unit, and then click the OK button.

Unit type (inquiry/control/inquiry control)

This refers to the operating mode of this unit. For example, in the case of a transmitter-type temperature sensor that only transmits values, check only inquiry. If it is an operating device with status values, both Inquiry and Control should be checked. Also, only control is checked if there is no status value and the system operates solely by receiving commands.
